filipstudio
My store doesn't use the catalog mode (the Catalog Mode is OFF), yet there are no prices & no "add to cart" buttons available whatsoever. The cache is OFF, and all the caching options. The cart icon is present everywhere, however. I've installed the PayPal, COD & Check modules. No purchasing option seems to be available. How can I fix this? Thank you. Edited April 23, 2014 by filipstudio (see edit history)

dioniz
This looks like your store is in catalog mode somehow. Can you check your database table ps_configuration to see if your PS_CATALOG_MODE value is 0
filipstudio
Yes, the value is

dioniz
Vekia, what looks strange to me is cart div on his store: <div class="col-sm-4 clearfix header_user_catalog"> If i look into cart.tpl there's this code: <div class="col-sm-3 clearfix{if $PS_CATALOG_MODE} header_user_catalog{/if}"> so it looks like it is in catalog mode somehow
vekia
im out of ideas right now. perhaps PS_CATALOG_MODE is duplicated in ps_configuration table can you verify it, filipstudio

filipstudio
Thank you. I've added {debug} to the product.tpl, but I don't know where exactly to look (or how) for $PS_CATALOG_MODE I found this strange entry instead, at the bottom of the product page: No template found for module paypalusa
dioniz
Yep your $PS_CATALOG_MODE is True. You get this smarty console in popup.

filipstudio
Thank you, but how can I fix it? In the Preferences > Products (general) > Catalog mode is NO. Even if I switch the tab on and off a few times, the result seems to be the same....

filipstudio
I just found out what was wrong. For some reason, all the customer groups had the "Show prices" option turned off. I've turned on, and now it works perfectly. Thanks for your help!
