Devilok
Hi everyone: I recently started using Prestashop (version 1.6) and have had a problem logging into my back office for a few weeks now, it is getting frustrating to the point where I am about to abandon this program. When I try to log into Prestashop back office, I continually get the message: "The Employee does not exist, or the password provided is incorrect". My site is hosted by Arvixe, and when I contacted them they told me I needed to re install Prestashop. Once re installed, I was able to log in, for about 2 hours, then the same issue happened again. I then uninstalled all of my browsers (I can access the back office from my phone, so I am thinking this is an issue on my pc?). Once I uninstalled IE, I could then log in, again, for an hour or two, then the problem reoccurred. I have tried logging in with multiple browsers, IE, Chrome, Firefox, all have the same issue. I even went so far as to completely reinstalled Windows. I have went in and cleared the browser cache, and I have tried running the SQL query found online ( UPDATE employee SET passwd = md5(“ < COOKIE_KEY > < yourNewPassword > ”) WHERE email = “your-email-address”; You can find cooking key in the config/settings.inc.php) to reset the password in my DB, nothing is working. Can anyone give any ideas? At this point I am not able to continue building my website and I would hate to leave Prestashop being I really do like the program, when I can log in
Devilok
Correction, it appears this isn't pc specific, I now get the same error on my phone, work pc, my laptop and friends laptop.
