Error in Layered filter menu

Several days ago I started working with prestashop 1.6.0.5. First impression: positive. So far so good.

After some getting around and a couple of days of fine-tuning, the shop slowly got in shape. 

 

During this 'investigation' I've encountered several 'issues'. (layered filter, slider, dropdown menu)

Most of them probably due to my ignorance.

 

Lets start finding a solution for the layered filter issue.

The layered filter doesn't seem work properly anymore after I deleted the default filter template...

The (new) filter only shows categories and remains completely unfunctional.

 

After I deleted the default template and added a fresh one, there was a problem with the rebuild price, url etc function. The response of the server was: Bad Token.

That problem somehow disappeared when I opened the BO and tried again on another computer.

 

I'm clueless. Maybe someone can help me out here.

More than one month already. Nobody the slightest idea? It doesn't seem to me the problem is "unsolvable!"?

I only deleted the default filter template and replaced it. Nothing else.

Otherwise, please tell me whether my question is unclear or incoherent.This is taking too long now.
