how/where to modifiy background color topmenu and footer-cointainer PS 1.6.0.4

I've modified the Topmenu navigation bar background colors for PS 1.6.0.2. in /modules/blocktopmenu/css/superfish-modified.css. from black to green.

 

After upgrade of the module and PS version to latest version these modifications are lost (testshop) and I'm not able to rework it as it was. Modifications are not accepted. Yes I cleared all cache possibilities and turned to force recompilation before changes. I noticed that there is a new module themeconfigurator activated after I upgraded. Is this new module causing the problems ? Tried also by deinstalling this module. Not helped. Background colour remains black and bottom-grey.

 

The same problem I have for the background colour of the footer-container where social-links and newsletter are located.

 

Please can somebody help me to localize where to change the background color for hover ? Since 2 hours searching for where the colours are now to be changed I give up.

Yes I changed the color of the image, but does not apply.

I've seen on download package that this file is available there, but not on my shop which is an upgrade.

Tried to copy this file to that folder (created the folder css before). But changes also do not apply.

 

Upgrades are a mess, sorry to say it. Upgrades from running PS 1.5. shops are not working perfectly and also not upgrades within PS 1.6. version. I have only one file in themes/default-bootstrap/css/modules/blocktopmenu/, which is: blocktopmenu.tpl. If I add all other things missing there and make the changes than it does not apply too...

Hi Vekia,

 

thanks. Exact the files I was changing, and the changes applied, but seems that the customer server has a big cache time set (or RAM)... After one day the changes suddenly appeared. A mess of server for developers... I was really wondering why on my server it works and on the other not... But well, mystery solved.

superfish-modified.css is nowhere in 

themes/default-bootstrap/css/modules/blocktopmenu/css/superfish-modified.css

I can only find blocktopmenu.tpl

 

superfish-modified.css can be found

modules/blocktopmenu/css/superfish-modified.css

not the themes

I use 1.6.0.8

When I change de the file it doesn't change anything...  

Do I have to put that file somewhere else?

Same here (look the screenshot)...

I can change the background back to social and newsletter module but not the color of the whole row (left and right grey)...

I can't find the css rule... I only change the css color of the footer but not of the row before the footer...
