How to disable cart and purchasing options and how to add a enquiry button in in NEW PrestaShop 1.6

Dear friend am new to prestashop i would like to know how to disable the cart and purchasing option and i want to add just an enquiry button instead of purchasing option  .i am using the latest version of prestashop

(PrestaShop v1.6.0)

 

and also i would like to know how to add extra fields in the enquiry forms?

Hi

 

You can enable catalog mode from the backoffice > preferences. This will disable cart and purchase options. You can use the contact form for user enquiries but you have to edit the tpl file and add some fields to it as you want.

as far as i remember is a part of preferences > products tab

you can turn on there catalog mode mentioned by Indus

 

and regarding to the enquiry button: you can add button to contact form, then your customers will use native prestashop cotnact form to contact with you

i think adding extra fields to contact form should not be difficult, i think i have seen tutorials for that somewhere on the forums.

hai my friends i want to add an enquiry button for each of the products , that button will enable a contact form with respect to the particular product,that'smy main needs, can anyone give me a solution and i need some extra field to the contact form like phone number, email id.

have a look at the attachment pls and give me a better solution
