[SOLVED] Need help with the customer Login slash Register

I feel like I am losing customers over my registration process. The user has to click on the Register/Login link on my site. Which I am seeing on Google analytics a lot of people leaving that page. I want to have a separate Login button and a separate Register button. Can anyone help me with how to do that? Thank you!!

 

(solved by deleting all negative margins and starting over with positing it correctly)

ok i was able to get these two separated, however they are showing up differently in Chrome and IE. Can anyone help? I would like them both on the horizontal menu bar, just like the links on the left. I use firebug and i inspect element. I have tried everything. Can anyone come up with CSS that can be applied that will place the links on the menu bar and look the same for all browsers?
