jbaranello Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 Hi, First want to say that this software is great and Ive had a lot of fun playing with it. Now I have a theme I purchased and it seems that the developer has now decided to remove it from the add-on store, maybe due to my constant emails concerning some issues which they never responded to?? Needless to say I still paid for the theme and got most of the issues resolved on my own. There are only a few issues left, two of which I am at my wits end on trying to get it to work. So was wondering if anyone had any ideas? 1 - In the footer there is a block (included with theme) that shows featured products. Now the title is there, the block is showing (I think) but no products being displayed? 2 - On my homepage the New Products block is hidden on loading the page but when I click on New Arrivals it loads the new products. Draygon Posted April 17, 2014 Share Posted April 17, 2014 JB, In order for the featured products to show on your landing page via the module, you must add the products you want shown there to the "Home" category under the associations tab. As the New Arrivals section also includes Featured Products (not in the footer) as soon as I included a few products within my home category, a new tab came up next to New Arrivals (Featured Products) and that seemed to fix the issue of it always being hidden when page loads. jbaranello Posted April 18, 2014 Author Share Posted April 18, 2014 Hi vekia, Thanks again for the help. Unfortunately it doesnt work. The featured products is still the first tab on my hompage. Any other ideas for getting New Arrivals to be the default?? Also I seem to be having an issue importing images (since I upgraded to 1.6.0.6) via CSV WHEN they are located on my hosted server. I created another folder called images in my root Prestashop install and that where all my images are. The images are at 644 and the folders at 755 and my root PS install folder at 750 permissions. Images that had a URL that was not on my server (suppliers site) were imported just fine. Wut do you think this could be? Again thanks for all the help. I tried a few things but can't get it to set the New Arrivals as the default tab. I have attached the .tpl .php file for this module. Any ideas??
