Footer shows shop details as "My Company, 42 avenue des Champs Elizées" in spite of my having entered my shop's contact details. How to correct this situation ? faustotex Posted April 19, 2014 Author Share Posted April 19, 2014 I have since posting this query verified the SAME BEHAVIOUR on Prestashop 1.6.0.5 and Prestashop 1.5.4.1. How do you all successful users of Prestashop managed to put YOUR OWN DETAILS at the footer and phone number on the LHS of the header in place of "My Company 42 avenue des Champs Elysées 75000 Paris France" and "Tel: 0123-456-789 " ? Feeding my shop's details under "Preferences" -> "Shop Contacts" certainly does not work as I expected. Any takers on this ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

faustotex Posted April 20, 2014 Author Share Posted April 20, 2014 (edited) Thank you Sum4444. That's done tre trick ! Nor really so intuitive as the Help file would have you believe. Besides, I still haven't figured out where the data filled into Shop Contacts eventually appears. One of the main concepts behind databases is to only keep information IN ONE PLACE and here the SAME INFORMATION has to be fed into Shop Contacts AS WELL as into the TWO (!!!) modules you identified above.
