Disable user registration + warning

Hi,

 

we produce and sell alcohol beverages and must for legal reasons have a message before entering our website warning minors they are not supposed to enter. Plus, for safety reasons, I would like to be able to deactivate the registration form since we work exclusively with professionals, we do not want to have anybody just registering and passing orders.

 

Ideally it would be just impossible to access the website if they are not registered.

 

Anybody with a solution? Paid solutions are not really an option for what I understood from my admins...

I forgot to mention my PS version is 1.6.0.6!

I am not sure if this module will help (it is paid for) I doubt if you can get a free module to do what you require.

 

Anyway, have a look at this one and ask the developers if they can do what you need

and regarding to register form, you can remove links to register form from all .tpl files (in this case: blockuserinfo.tpl located in blockuserinfo module)

 

you can also change contents of authentication.tpl file located in tpl file, you can remove all contents from this file related to "register" form. - then customers will not be able to register
