Draygon
I am starting to find that support is lacking for PS. For a period of nearly two (2) weeks, I have been trying to get the same questions answered only to be met with "I don't know"'s... Phone: .."No-one is available to take your call" (Option 1,2,3,4 or pressing zero, all same response) And yes I'm calling during the posted hours listed on PS site. And the "free" support here has lead me to little joy of solving issues. So for anyone who can answer the following, it would be much appreciated. Does the UPS module that is included with PS and developed by PS use the Ground Freight API as well as the small package API? Does anyone have, can make, develop for sale or know of a module that address the oversight in PS as it relates to product attributes that have a difference in dimension for those attributes? i.e. If you sold milk by quart, half-gallon and gallon, in PS you can account for the variance in the price and the weight of the attribute (combination) but you cannot account and adjust for the difference in dimension of that product attribute. As it is now, you must add another product to your catalog just to sell these sizes (which congests your store and can make it more difficult for customers to find what they might be looking for, especially if you have hundreds of products that fit this type). Why? Because dimension has just as big an impact on shipping cost as the weight does. Does anyone have, know of, can make or develop and solid and stable module for Soap or NuSoap? Does the PS cart allow and include multi-carrier orders. i.e. cart contains items that can only be shipped via freight services and items that can be shipped via carriers like UPS. And it will calculate shipping for the item(s) that are small package and freight carrier together correctly? I have tried calling sales for information on modules for sale that would address these issues and all you get is that they have no idea. I've been trying to get answers from the forums, no dice. Somebody somewhere has to know something. The only answer that I have gotten from PS is to buy an entry level support package for $399 to get those questions answered. $399 for a support package to answer what are really sales questions? Given what I've seen of phone based options and availability, I don't know I'd have very much faith that spending $399 would get me any closer to an answer.
