deepee
Hi All I used the latest 1-click upgrade on a test copy of my production site. Things went better than the previous attempt with 1.6.0.5 but my existing customised Australian english translations were replaced by the default (default-bootstrap theme) translations. I tried importing my custom en.gzip file and get the status message "The translations have been successfully added." However, when I browse the site, nothing has changed (I have cleared caches etc.) Any ideas? Thanks deepee Edited April 16, 2014 by deepee (see edit history)
vekia
hello if you mean that you tried to import translations from 1.5 to 1.6 i've got sad information. new translations contains a lot of new fields, this is why translations from 1.5 aren't enough
deepee
Thanks for the update, Vekia. It's not the result I was hoping for but at least I know what I'm dealing with now. As comment, my translations are fairly minimal, e.g. Check becomes Cheque. I pity the poor souls who have to reconfigure complex translations and I give the Presta development team a big "FAIL" on this one.
