kai_hawaii
Aloha, I am translating a catalog (like a paper one) to prestashop. The database however lists several (say 10) items under a common name. Most of the items are features but not all are and I do not know the actuall feature value (say red). I guess when they compiled the database, they just threw everything randomly in the description of the item. I only have a description, picture, manufacture #, etc for each item among a common name. I could create a subcateogry using the common name and use the desciption for the actual item name, but this is rather confusing and looks bad. I am looking for an edit which would recognize that several items have the same name (so I could group them together that way rather than in a subcategory) and then displays them all under that one name in say radio button style with short desciption, manufacture #, etc similar to a catalog. I can recompile the catalog in which ever possible combination for import into prestashop. Please contact me if you are interested or perhaps have a better idea how to group them. Thank you, ~kai Edited April 16, 2014 by kai_hawaii (see edit history)
