Single coupon with different discount on different categories

Hi team,

 

Coming month My Client is going to celebrate 1st Anniversary. So they want to give discount for few categories.

Here is the requirement,

1. Discount for category1 and category2 is 10%

2. Category3 and Category4 is 5%

 

But they need only one coupon. it should apply discount based on category.

 

Currently i am using basic module in PS1.5. can we do it in this Module or is there any module avail for this requirement?

 

Please help me on this. Urgent requirement.

it must be voucher code?

there is a possibility that you can achieve it with "catalog price rules" but it will be a discount automatically added to price, not a "discount" code.

Ya. We have tried that "catalog price rules" but my client is not convinced with this  work around.

i don't know any module for this.

btw. i analysed your expectactions and it looks like you can achieve it with default cart rules tool.

 

you can create cart rule for selected category and then apply discount in percentages for order, or for example for selected products
