What are you expecting from the APP ? You can only read statistics and open orders. You cannot manage orders, customers or products with this app.

 

You need to install also on your shop the bridge, als explained here: http://mobile-store-assistant-help.emagicone.com/

Yes, should work if you don't have any server restrictions for the php-bridge. I've installed for PS 1.6. (I'm tester), but should work also with PS 1.5.
