kevin13952
I have my csv configured per the sample csv file and have conducted multiple test imports of 10-20 products with no issues. But when I upload my full product csv file of over 4000 items and initiate the import, it takes forever and then finally goes to a 404 page not found error. Then I check the products admin and it will have only imported 85-110 products. Does anyone know what could be causing this? kevin13952 Edited April 12, 2014 by kevin13952 (see edit history)
Travandi
Its ur hosting or server. You need to grow the limits. I think this is the best explication i've found so far: http://www.prestashop.com/blog/en/php-ini-file/
kevin13952
Its ur hosting or server. You need to grow the limits. I think this is the best explication i've found so far: http://www.prestashop.com/blog/en/php-ini-file/ I had already tried that and it didn't improve the situation. Oddly enough, Interspire Shopping Cart and Solecart will import the entire 4000 plus items flawlessly without any php.ini changes. hmmmm
Travandi
Kevin, my shop on interspire have 20k products, so i do know exactly what you're saying. My prestashop shop have now 15k products and i've managed to import 11k products at once and 7k of them had images. But i had to move from VPS to DEDICATED server and to optimize the limits so i dont get time out anymore. Same issue you are getting i guess. I do beleve the import function from prestashop is the worse possible i've seen, but i got it working for alot of products wich is what i needed.
