1.6.0 Disable / remove prev/next buttons

In PS 1.6.0 i see in the homeslider module, in the lower right corner, the < > buttons inside the image.
I would like to remove them completely. Has anyone an idea?

You can turn those buttons this way. Open yourtheme/js/modules/homeslider/js/homeslider.js

 

and find this line:

controls: true

Change true to false and that's it

I also fixed this problem using this advice, but instead of yourtheme/js/modules/homeslider/js/homeslider.js

the path was /modules/homeslider/js/homeslider.js, right off root.

About reducing the height of the slider, so that the wide still being 779px the height is shorter, allowing a shorter image without moving down the next module (in my case the home text editor module)?
