Access for the suppliers

Dear committed members and prestashop admin,

 

I want to configure my prestashop such that my suppliers can have access to their own catalogs/products (not other supplier's product/catalog, eg. supplier A only can access/edit catalogue/product from supplier A, supplier A cannot access/edit products supplier .

 

Is that possible in prestashop 1.6.0.5? Or if not by default design, is there Add-on modules for the above setup?

I'd love to hear the possibility and how it is configured?

I believe you need a custom modification for this, as employees can only access/not access all products. Permissions are given per page, by default. I am not aware of any module that allows you to do this! Perhaps you are looking for something  like a multiple seller module? Can they set their own prices and share products, while people should be able to choose which supplier to buy from in the front office?

I dun mind for custom modification. You are very right, i need something like a multiple seller module, whereby they can set their own prices and share products/promos, while customers should be able to choose which supplier to buy from in the front office.

 

Any idea for the modules? or you have experience on this using presta?

There are a couple of modules out there, like agile multiple sellers. But I am currently working on my own reseller module for a client, as he was really dissatisfied with all of the ones he found

Yea i saw that.the agile mult sellers loooks good. May u share the disadvantage or weakness of agile multiple sellers?

I am about to enquiry their product demo also.
