elorac
In the recent update for Image slider for PS 1.6, there's a bug I just found after pulling my hair out. They apparently changed the "images" directory to "img" inside /modules/homeslider. If you are having problems uploading files after this update, rename your "img" folder to "images" inside /modules/homeslider and it should work. Or create a new "images" folder in that directory and give it 777 permissions (or whatever permissions your web server scripts need to write). Hope this helps some people.

vekia
hello in new version of the slider module you will have to rename the slider /img/ directory to /images/ you probably don't use latest release of this module make sure, and if so - upgrade it without changing folder name. Kingstar
Goodness! I noticed this yesterday evening, and since then I've been trying hard to be sure I've not been hacked. Goodness!

Prestashop is so unpredictable. They may choose to change the folder back to 'img' in a future upgrade, so I chose to create a new folder called 'images' instead of renaming 'img'. Changed permission to 777 and copied the contents of 'img' to the new 'images'. VOILA! Problem solved! Thanks so much for the information, @elorac. I was seriously wondering if I'd been hacked.
