how to add the additional custom field of product  page and save the field value to database and show the  field value to cart summary in PS 1.5.6.1 Please help me...

Do you mean the standard customisation field? If so, then all this is standard possible:

 

Do this:

- go to the product you want to add the customisation field to in back office (catalog->products, edit product)

 

- Click on "Customization" tab.

- see picture, do stap 1 - 5

 

 

- Go to front office. Select product.

- see picture, do stap 1-4

 

(N.B. after adding the product to the cart, if you hover over your shopping cart, you see the product and the customisation is mentioned here as well)

 

Go to checkout. In the summary, you see the product and the customisation mentioned.
