Editing the footer

Recommended Posts

Sorry for asking stupid questions, but it seems that I cannot find a solution for this:

In the attached picture there is couple of red lines drawn which I would like to get rid of. But I can´t. I have deleted unneccessary items from settings-> CMS, configured the CMS module. But I cannot find a way to remove the "specials", "best sellers", "new products" from the footer.

So if there is a simple answer, please let me know.

Cheers,

1. For "My Accounts" very easy. Just go to the module "My accounts block for your website footer" and disable.

2. To remove Our Stores, go to Preferences, Store Contacts. Under Parameters, change "Display in Footer" to No. Even if you don't have any stores, the link will appear if set to Yes.

3. For the other Information - the top 3 items you underlined and sitemap, the only method I found was to edit the blockcms.tpl file under themes/default-bootstrap/modules/blockcms/ (if that is your theme). Either delete or comment out the List Items
you don't want. NOTE: I would leave the Stores
since there is a method in Admin to remove; this way you an enable this if you want later without editing the tpl. Searched everywhere and this was the only option I found to remove these .
