vitochueng
Hi, Have you found the solution? I have the same error! I thought it's the module's problem. Because some of my modules were updated successfully, but the rest modules appeared this error.
driverservices
So many people having this problem - I don't know why nobody from Prestashop is replying! I had this problem when I tried to click the orange Update button next to each individual module. Instead, I clicked the Update All button in the top green bar (two circular arrows icon) and it suddenly worked! I don't know if this had any effect, but prior to doing this, I went into the Modules catalogue and downloaded the 1-Click Autoupdater and added to the modules list. Maybe this is unrelated. EDIT: the orange update now buttons have returned, even though the modules panel said they had all been updated successfully. This system clearly does not work. If anyone from PrestaShop would like to reply with a solution, in the interests of good customer service, it might be useful. driverservices
OK, never mind. This was originally posted TWO MONTHS AGO and there is zero response from Prestashop. We have uninstalled and are developing a custom payment system. Prestashop guys, this is a customer service forum. People are asking questions and receving no reply. If you don't respond to your customers your product will fail. Prestashop looks cute but I this is a vote of no confidence. Goodbye.
Franck K.
Prestashop does not have the best customer service and they should really do something about that. However I may help you. First thing : Did you try to unzip the module and zip it within it (don't zip the module folder, but the files and subfolders inside it). Sometimes, archive with one main subfolder don't unzip correctly. I know the post is outdated but may be useful for others. Have a good day ! taniacr
Ok.. so.. here's what I tried today. Manually, by FTP, updated from 1.6.0.6 to 1.6.0.8. After that I was left with 5 modules to update (instead of 28). Tried to update clicking in the orange button and finally worked!!!!
dennis1981
Guys dont hit Prestashop, it is an open source framework, i'm sure when someone is able to help, he will! Check my threads where nobody replies and i still have the same issues..well what can you do... In regards to the issue '2 errors There was an error while extracting the module (file may be corrupted). Module themeconfigurator can't be upgraded: ' I had the same problem. I reset module. Then update again, even though im receiving same error, the module is upgraded indeed! Hope this helps!
driverservices
I know, we're just *so* impatient. We can't expect these open-source developers to jump up instantly. I mean, it's only been 6 months after all, give the poor guys a break. Some people might think that putting an entire business on hold while you wait for a reply in a support forum is not commercially viable, but I say hell no, let's wait and see what happens! I'll maybe log on again in the spring.
