Product image is blurry after upgrade

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, after upgraded to 1.6, the product images of my store are now blurry. As you can see in the attachment, the picture is now 333px x 333px. In my BO setting, the large_default is in fact set to 264px x 264px (as you can see from codes highlighted in blue colour at the bottom, it is indeed 264*264).  However, the system enlarges the dimension of the picture, that is why the image is now blurry.

I don't know where this setting of 333px x 333px comes from?  How to change it back to 264px x 264px??

There is a image tag img#bigpic, but I don't where it locates and how to edit?

I would appreicate if anyone can help.

Because of responsive design image size is changing depend on size of screen and number of columns. For example if you get rid of left column, image will get bigger.

You can set size to 333px x 333px in BO > Preferences > Images and regenerate images and they won't be blurred anymore.

Many thanks for your tips. But can I changed the picture to a smaller size? For example, 280 x 280? If I do this in BO, the responsive design will again enlarge it, and make it blurry.

Doing this option, I could not choose all, the system would time out on me but when I did each type individually it worked great.  Thanks for the tip.
