Module to list multiple items under one common name

Aloha,

I am translating a catalog (like a paper one to prestashop. Everyting is going actually really well but I do have one particular issue. The database I am using (very large and lots of categories) lists several (say 10) items under a common name (most of them are features of the main item but not all are) and I do not know the actuall feature value (say red). So I can not use features. I only have a desciption for each item. I could create a subcateogry for each name and use the desciption for the actual name, but this is rather confusing and looks bad.

 

Is there an add on module which would recognize that several items have the same name (so I could group them together that way rather than in a subcategory) and then displays them all under that one name in say radio button style with short desciption, manufacture #, etc ? Or perhaps someone else has a better idea? If my desciption is confusing think ordinary paper catalog with one header for 10 items, and then 100 headers per category, etc etc.
