Multi language on multiple domains

Recommended Posts

I'm creating my first PrestaShop and need some help handling the following scenario.

I have two domains:

myshop.dk

myshop.se

Same shop, same theme, same products - but localized content.

I want my Danish customers to use myshop.dk and my Swedish customers to use myshop.se.

Should I enable multistore to accomplish this or simply create a PrestaShop on each domain?

Recommend using multishop!

Then you can set default languge and currency defaults for each shop in the back office, also single sitemap with both domains...etc.

I have some questions about multishop

When creating a multishop will it use a single sitemap for all the webshops and google indexex all languages from that sitemap?

And for the language, if iam on the first domain in this case Danish "myshop.dk" and click on Swedish language, would it go to the domain "myshop.se" or it stays in the same domain and shows you the Swedish language?

Thanks

Doesnt seem there is much help provided on Prestashop forums...

then you should open a new post to address your particular question/issue..don't post on existing topic you 'think' is the same...you lose exposure to entire community...if you look through the forum there is much  attention to well articulated questions/issues...

in the future, if you want to post your displeasure with community, I suggest opening a new topic as well...
