Create multiple payment methods in ps 1.6

Recommended Posts

Good day. Im trying to configure multiple payment methods with different bank accounts and also the pse button to make payments in Colombia, South America. All needs to be done in PS 1.6

The module has to be able to configure different bank accounts. The costumer just choose the bank of his preference and click on the icon to go to the url that the bank has give me. After that the costumer just send confirmation.

Also the mail that is send after the placement of the order has to be updated with the bank that the client choose.

I think is very similar to the universal payment module.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Nelson

look at bankwire module,

you can clone this multiple times for different bank types, efecty etc.

note: you must know or are willing to learn what is requried in the changed clone module, i.e. class name, different db fields...

I have a free efecty module, search for it, I simply cloned from bankwire, (but made mistake of taking out currency check/selector)...be careful here which curriences your shop has and what currency you need the fund, i.e. col pesos.

you can find the bankwire module in native PrestaShop module folder.

happy  developting!

Well i started the journey of cloning modules with a couple of mistakes.

In the search i found this solution that could fit my problem at least in this early stage but the problem is that is made for prestashop 1.5, after a couple changes of the code and the ps not working (im just testing , im not a programmer) im wondering how i can make it work on ps 1.6? :

Any hints? thanks!

Here is the post for ps 1.5

more than likely the 1.5 bankwire would work in 1.6, but if not then clone the 1.6 module and retrofit changes.   This at first may seem like a challenge, you will learn some basic reading and minor changing  of code...but learning this will allow you to be more in charge of your shop in the future.
