Does the module permissions on FTP are 755 for folders and 644 for files after update?

blockcategories folder is 777 and so are the files 777

Change the folder permissions to 755 and files to 644.

And actually do it for ALL the modules you have. 

Because of the bug when you are updating the modules the permissions are switching to 777 for some reason. It makes some modules to work improperly.

ALL folders and subfolders should be 755 and ALL files should be 644.
