The Newsletter Block does not show

Hi guys,

 

After enable the Newsletter Block from backoffice the module is not showing at all.

 

I have tried to re-install the module without any results. The Newsletter Block version is 1.4. The PrestaShop version is 1.5.6.0

Any help on how to enable the Newsletter block is highly appreciated.

Where is it supposed to show up? Try transplanting it to the right column

Hi Nemo1,

 

I have tried to transplant the module using the Live Edit but the module does not appear at all. The module is Newsletter block v1.4

 

Essentially the project requires to add the Newsletter subscription module in the footer in the same way like www.zappos.com

 

Any advice how to solve it is highly appreciated.

hm, try using modules, positions to transplant it, instead of the live edit. See if you get any error message

Nemo1, the backoffice does not allow me to transplant the module to the footer.

 

I have a better idea, do you know a shop made in prestashop that currently is using the Newsletter Block in the frontpage or other pages?

are you 100% sure that you tried to transplant it to the displayFooter (not displayProductFooter!!) hook?

im asking because i tried it on the same version of PS and module version, and i transplanted it without a problem.

 

moreover, i checked source of this module and there is a code to support displayFooter hook:
