enquire
Hi, I have installed PrestaShop 1.6 locally into my computer using Bitnami. It seems that everything went well as I seem to be able to access PrestaShop by typing ip address /prestashop and I get the Prestashop default-theme. However I have no idea how to access the admin area (or whatever the area is called) to start adding things like logo, and changing the existing images and info etc. Any advise would be appreciated. Many Thanks
El Patron
after installation PrestaShop asked you to rename the admin fodler and delete installation folder. so you would navigate to back office by using the loaclhost/shopfoldername/adminfoldername. for example: localhost/1562java/admin1562java
enquire
After I installed PrestaShop via Bitnami, I have not installed PrestaShop with the auto-install (like I did when I uploaded ps originally to my server). I don't know how to do the auto-install when all I have is to acess ps on my computer info ip/prestashop which takes me to ps default-theme. Have I bitten off more than I can chew! enquire
Ok, I will uninstall the ps via bitnami and download directly from prestashop onto my computer as you recommend it. Thanks.
