Custom Online Print Shop

I am developing a custom online print site running on Prestashop.

I have most of the design done. We just need to tweak up script up to meet our needs.

This would involve an image upload script with each product that gets ordered.

Also, adding in custom attributes to calculate the final price of each order, based on quantity, finish and other options.

Maybe a few more options too to get the shopping cart working correctly, preferably with ajax like effects.

Only possibility is with attributes in PrestaShop right now. In Presta doesn't have possibilities for price change with customizations. You need generate thousands products.

Is this still the case? I'm about to build a print shop myself. Are there better techniques / modules available to customize a product?

I want users to be able to create their own products, for example: 1.000 pieces of full color laminated A5 flyers. Or full color brochures with 56 pages hard cover, 300gr paper, etc. And the ability to upload their content with their order.

 

Looking for general info on customize modules. Any help would be much appriciated.
