deepayan
Hello everyone, I need an immediate help to keep my data's intact with prestahop 1.6. Please follow the points one by one to see what's happen with my cart. 1. I am using Prestashop 1.5.6 well and fine. 2. I want to upgrade the Cart to 1.6 and use the default bootstrap theme that comes with 1.6 version. 3. Please suggest how to upgrade manually keeping all the products, categories and everything intact. 4. As you can understand that it's my live website. So, don't want to loose my customers and data's because we already tried with "click to upgrade" module before that messed up everything. El Patron
the main thing is to make a duplicate of your shop, either a remote subdomain preferably a localhost installation. then try 1-click and manual upgrades...key being to find the best method that works for you. once you have that sorted then know how to proceed. for manual upgrades, read this: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Manual+update the main thing is to make a duplicate of your shop, either a remote subdomain preferably a localhost installation. then try 1-click and manual upgrades...key being to find the best method that works for you. once you have that sorted then know how to proceed. for manual upgrades, read this: http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Manual+update side note, I would not personally upgrade my shop, I have scheduled my upgrade to be done by expert, bellin13.
