Retrieve product URL from ID

Hi all... I am developing a module and I require the product's URL, all I have is the product's ID. Is there some useful method that may do the job. I have product URLs with this form:

 

http://mydomain.com/main/category/23-product-title.html

 

I know one way may be to compose manually the URL by retrieving the top domain, category and the title. But that leads me again to the problem of retrieving all this info from the ID. Is there any useful method that allows me to do this work?
