well that's something..given it's the .tpl that is not displaying...

if it was working,  then not, think back to what you may have done (loaded a module?) and reverse.

also, try clearing cache from admin-->performance...maybe just a hick up

I have done a lot of things in modules... stupit me not to check after every change..

I do have a full file backup from last saterday so I hopefully can still restore

well..I'd bang around a little like clearing the cache...hopefully something very simple...

did you clear cache?  also you could turn off overrides and see if that resolves...

restoring and losing work I think is last resort...but very smart to be making back ups...

and yes,  doh!...testing each chance is the key to success!

A few observations:

 - at the top of your page you have a couple of warnings like "Strict Standards: Declaration of Link::getProductLink() should be compatible with LinkCore::getProductLink". The interesting thing is that these are about files in the override directory - meaning that they are for some installed module that may not be compatible.

 - Your menu has at least one problem. See the last error message on the top: "Notice: Undefined variable: item1 in /home/verfkeuze.nl/www/modules/posmegamenu/posmegamenu.php on line 1046". So it might be interesting to look what happens when you switch that menu off.

 - I did a text search on my 1.5.6.1 shop for "product_mode". It is nowhere to be found in the whole shop. That raises the question from where you got it.

BTW: are you aware of the problems of 1.6 modules accidentally installed in 1.5 shops? See for example http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/317563-solved-addons-suggesting-incompatiable-native-module-upgrades/

After restoring the backup and reinstall the module:  Pos Swith Mode product ( list or grid) view the products are back.  :)

The next thing to do is get rid off :

Strict Standards: Declaration of Link::getLanguageLink() should be compatible with LinkCore::getLanguageLink($id_lang, Context $context = NULL) in /home/verfkeuze.nl/www/override/classes/Link.php on line 201

How can I resolve this? I was reading  your message El Patron you say:

did you place your overrides in your module folder like this?

modules/modulename/override/classes/(your overridde)
ps then should, during a reset, uninstall and then re-install to the root/override/classes/(your override)

Do I have to remove the link.php fiole from  /www/override/classes ?

Also do I have to do this ?

Q: I added an override file but it seems to be ignored by PrestaShop
A: You need to trigger the regeneration of the /cache/class_index.php file. This is done simply by deleting the file. It is the same when manually removing an override: in order to reinstate the default behavior, you must delete the /cache/class_index.php file.

Well I don't know.. I have istalled a custom theme.

I do not know what to do about these overrides..

have you contacted the developer of the theme?  you can probably post in paid section to get someone to fix this for very little money.
