I'm trying to integrate phpbb with prestashop so that users can log into either and be online on both the forums and store. I also want it so that they can register for both in one place. How would I go about doing this? Do I need to edit the database so they read/write to the same fields or do I need to edit the .php files in phpbb? Any help would be greatly appreciated! KIH999 Posted October 20, 2009 Share Posted October 20, 2009 You have to do much to get this work good.Need a "master-login-script" where you pass username and password to phpBB and Prestashops login-scripts. so they can create sessions their own way..Presta uses email as "username", phpBB use "nick" as user.. You need to lookup this in a db..Also keep in mind that you must sync password when user change it in one place.All is doable, but much work.
