prestashop 1.3 to 1.5 no image

Recommended Posts

Hello!

The prestashop 1.5 doesn't use the same system of image as older versions :

Go to Preferences > images > in the bottom of the page , click on "move images" , after that the process has finished , click on "Regenerate thumbnails" .

Good luck

I seen on your page , it still uses the same system :

Go to Advanced parameters > Performance > smarty > click on Clear Smarty cache & Autoload cache

After that click on > force compile and save ; clear the cache of your browser, reload your website.

When finished > chose Never recompile template files  or  Recompile templates if the files have been updated.

Good luck

For example the product 58 has the image "124"

The source of the image in code is : src="http://magic.prestaservice.org/img/p/1/2/4/124-large_default.jpg"

and in the folder of you images, the image has the name 124-large.jpg

It means the images miss the suffix _default

I renamed for test the image : 124-medium.jpg to 124-medium_default.jpg

and  it works : src="http://magic.prestaservice.org/img/p/1/2/4/124-medium_default.jpg"

All images must have the suffix _default

Hey,

I enabled the Friendly URL, there is not problem

You can add images as you like, they will named as well!

For the template, in the image side i think there will be no problem, but other things i don't know (compatibility) , the best, as you know is to test always in a no production environment.

Best
