paul smith
Hi,The graphics which display the attributes for the dialog boxes for "short Description" and "description" are not showing in admin. If I mouse over the buttons, I can read from the message (new document, bold, italic etc) but they are just grey squares with the odd coloured line underneath them. Is there a way to overcome this please.Secondly what is the best way to backup your site? is it by using filezilla and downloading to hard drive and then to a pendrive?finally, how does one install the buttons that were created by a prestacart member (sorry, can't remember their name). The original buttons on my site are a bit dull. Many thanks in advance. Paul
prestabase
Hi Paul,Right click on the "x" where the image should be and view the image path. Then log into your website via FTP and check if the images are uploaded to that location. Since an "x" is shown, they most likely are not uploaded. What control panel do you use? If cPanel, it's very easy to make a complete account backup via the "backup" icon within the main page of the control panel. You can replace the default buttons by simply uploading them via FTP. You will just need to upload the button images to the correct location.
paul smith
How do you remove the Latin text and abstract image (which when clicked takes you to prestashop’s website) from the home page. I can’t for the life of me find where those pages are!Secondly, thanks for the feedback about the images. Now what about those buttons you click on for the formatting, i.e., bold, italic, left align, right align etc.? I can see what each button is by mousing over them, but aren’t they supposed to have a letter on them, for example B for bold, I for italic and a symbol for the align buttons.Once again, thanks in advance
rocky
You need to go to Modules > Home text editor v1.5 > Configure to change the latin text and iPod graphic. Those missing icons are located at js/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/themes/advanced/img/icons.gif. Make sure that file has been uploaded correctly. It seems that many of your files are not uploading correctly. What are you using to upload your files? You should check the program's log to see which files did not upload successfully and re-upload them.
