[SOLVED] Adding website link to Footer

Hi,

 

First time i have really used this format so need some help.

 

Regarding this site - http://www.rockandstoneyork.co.uk/

 

I want to add my website link in the footer just like Bow House have done.

 

How do i do this?

HI

 

you must edit the file theme/your theme/footer .tpl

 

look at the end of file where you have Bow house link add

<span id="mylink">something or not<a href="http://yourlink" target="_blank">link</a></span>

and in file theme/your theme/css/global.css add

#mylink, #mylink a {
font-size: 12px;
color: #747471;
}
#mylink {
position: absolute;
right: 0;
top: 185px;
text-align: right;

Where do i locate the files footer.tpl and global.css?

in your ftp space of your web host(where your have upload prestashop)

btw. you can also use modules like 

1. contentbox
2. html box free

with these modules you can add any content you want to your footer section (links, images, videos ,etc.) without modification of the theme files.
