deuterit
Topic to trash. I've just seen "Manual Upgrade Guide" topic which is what i've tried myself but always resulting with broken default theme (something with hooks not displaying). --- Hello all. I am testing 1ClickUpgrade module on one shop. It works nice in overall. Firstly i'm updating minor version of 1.4.x and then updating to major version 1.6.x. When i've got newest version i can work on configuration, customizing theme, installing modules etc. There's one problem though. On production server i can not do that. It will take too much time to configure and test it. I need to have prepared and tested new shop version and then migrate only database. So there's question. Is there way to use 1ClickUpgrade to update only database or do it manualy running install/upgrade/upgrade.php script? Mark Hesketh
Would also like to know this. I manage my installs using Git, on local, on a dev server and live. It'd be great if theres a way to upgrade locally and deploy the files to live and run a DB migration script? is this possible?
GS VISION
I have the same issue with few projects we have to upgrade to 1.6 from various versions. It must be possible to isolate only the database upgrade part of the module and execute it, but I haven`t localized it so far
