cooletin
I cant go to modules in my back office. Its totaly blank out every time. Home slider looks really strange too. If I update something on my site, many times I just get logged out of the site and some times it will not update at all. Someone have some ideas? really scared to roll back because the hole site went down last time I did it.

Did you follow the checklist here? www.prestashop.com/blog/en/are-you-ready-for-prestashop-1-6-the-official-checklist/
cooletin
I make the back up on auto upgrade and I maked a back up in cpanel for all my files. When I roll back my store I missed around 500 products in auto upgrade. Looks like it justn back up for just 1800 products. I dont know? I have not make a test site but I will do it now, so I can test first.
Gregory Roussac
Hi, Sorry for that ! You can try find that back up by FTP in /adminXXX/autoupgrade/backup/ (.sql.bz2) to test it directly in phpmyadmin on a Wamp for instance, to see if the back up file misses these products. Gregory Roussac
Hi, Sorry did you restore files from Cpanel or the database ? Best regards
bloggus
My server admin says that I should change webshop solution. is it really like that? Honestly? Well, the problem is that you seem to have very limited knowledge about setting up a solution, testing it and deploying it in a good manner. As many people using open source solutions, you were not prepared for an upgrade, as you should. Never upgrade a live website, before tested it on a proper test enviroment. That will not change, even you choose another open source webshop solution. So I suggest to be careful next time, Think things through before you plan an upgrade och larger changes to a live shop. cooletin
If you should just talk shit, I dont need that ok? I need a solution for the problems. I took back up in cpanel and back up in auto upgrade. I restored both of the files. I tried roll back in presta and I restored my files html files in cpanel. benjamin utterback
The manual backup is recommended in the auto-upgrade module. It's also highlighted in the upgrade documentation. It has also been the focus of multiple blog posts, newsletters, and checklists to make sure before upgrading. If done the way that has been recommended there would be zero surprises. I agree that the previous post was little help. So, do you have your 1) exported database backup and 2) backup copy of your PrestaShop folders and files? Both should have been made at the same time before the upgrade.

This is really strange. Awesome! First, I would set up a test subdomain or domain on your server so you can test the backup files. If you don't want to do that, you can still do it on your live server but that is not recommended. Follow this tutorial to restore your database backup, http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/prestashop-15/342-restore-db
