The second option is to delete the the customer without him to be able to register again. If you use that option you won't be able see the email in the customer list as a disabled customer. I have deleted a customer with that option accidently but he wasn't able to register again. The only way to reinstate him is to add him from backend. Regarding to your validating solution. Do you mean validating the email if it is in the right format OR If someone wants to register with a fake email e.g [email protected], [email protected], the script pings the address and if there is no reply from the other end it doesn't allowed the user to register it?
