Error Module 1 Click Upgrade

Recommended Posts

It all depends on the error you get. Try downloading the latest version of the autoupgrade and backup everything manually before you try, so you can eventually roll back :) Several attempts should get you to the newest version :) Of course, it you fail 6 times or more it's worth investigating the error you get

I have my hosting on Ipage on shared server and always an error occur. Do you know how to upgrade to 1.6 easily and also then move to another hosting. What do you recommend?

Well, if you have issues with your hosting then move to another one first, then attempt thew upgrade ;) If you are in the us, have a look at my signature, Arvixe is the best choice you can do! :)

I am in Mexico but I would like to know advantages of Arvixe over IPage and Inmotion. Also if the 1 click upgrade module need some configurations in the php.ini or config core files?

Hi,

I am also having similar problem with 1-click upgrade. Currently I am running 1.5.6.2 version. And trying to upgrade to 1.6 version. When I use 1-click upgrade and click 'check if new verion is available' is says:

Your current prestashop version 1.5.6.2

Latest official version for channel minor 1.5.6.2 stable (1.5.6.2)

Check If a new Version is available.

After I clicked to check the new version it should come up with the new version and say

"Upgrade Prestashop now!" but this is not happening.

So how do I upgrade to to the new verison.

Please help.

Analyzing the situation ...Shop deactivated. Now downloading (this can takes some times )...[Ajax / Server Error for action download] textStatus: "error " errorThrown:"Internal Server Error " jqXHR: "

I was getting errors while trying to upgrade to 1.5.6.2  too, but during the upgrade. This one wouldn't even start.

Oh well...

Hopefully 1.6 is faster than its' predecessor.

Most of the visitors currently complain about low speed, and they're right: 60% drops "thanks" to low speed speaks volumes. This isn't a hosting issue, other programs perform much faster (2x faster or more, tested on GTmetrix.com).
