grimforge Posted March 18, 2014 Share Posted March 18, 2014 i had changed all the permission of the folder of my websiteon my host to 777 but still says i had problem on file permission and sho me one files an two folders but didn't sa name of the files/folders... some advice? Mohammed Atalla Posted March 20, 2014 Share Posted March 20, 2014 Hi, basicly you need first to give the permission of 755 for all the folders of prestashop before you start the instalation process. to do this, try any FTP client, I prefer using "Filezilla". 1- choose all the folders. 2- right click and choose file permissions. 3- edit the value to 775. 4- check "recurse into subdirectioes" option and choose "Apply to directories only". after it finish changing the permission to all folders try to run the instaltion file again. please let me know if that help. grimforge Posted March 21, 2014 Author Share Posted March 21, 2014 fail... sorry used filezilla with the exact sequence you wrote but i had the same problem...i dont understand why...now al the file had the 755 and the folder had 775 but i had the same result showed in the pictures... Talk to your hosting provider and ask them if you domain name without the www is the owner of the files.
