Cannot install PS 1.6.0.5 on localhost (error 22)

Hi,

 

I encounter this error while installing on localhost (clean install):

SQL error on query Can't create table 'ps_configuration' (errno: 22)

 

I tried again and then it happened again with err 22, but with another table.

 

Also, it seems installation is slow and harddisk keeps on running.

 

Anyone else with issue installing to localhost? Thanks/

 

XAMPP 1.8.0 / PHP: 5.4.4

Hi, I also have a problem installing 1.6.0.5.

It doesn't pass the first installing screen.

I choose the language installation (English) and when I pushed the next button is refreshing and just that.

I tried to redownload the package, same result.

I tried to move it on another server, same.

 

Somebody?

I downloaded and installed the latest XAMPP 1.8.2 to try .....and  PS 1.6.0.5 installed smoothly.

Thx for the info hsyong, but is a must to install it on the remote server. This will be an live shop. Locally is working. Other versions are working on remote. Just this version cause me problems.

Went smoothly for me on the latest WAMP. PHP version of that XAMPP?

On my remote server I have PHP 5.4.23 (cli) and locally in MAMP I have 5.5.3 and its working.

I really must to install it to remote server. Any idea about this prb?
