weasel69
One specific category on my shop is taking extremely long to load and eventually times out. It's the category with the most products (17 in total). All other categories loads pretty quickly (between 4 and 8 products). I created all products first with only 2 images and no combinations and the category still loaded fine. I then started editing all products 1 by one, adding the other 7 images and setting up the combinations. After modifying the 5th product, the problem started. I finished editing all products now. All category listings work, except the one with the 17 products in Click here to view my site ... the problem category is called "Sleeping Couches" Please help Edited March 16, 2014 by weasel69 (see edit history)

weasel69
Hi Cotoko ... NO, I haven't installed any new modules ... like I said everything was working fine, until I added the 7 addional images and 123 combinations to the 5th product ... from there the page stopped loading I have now activated "Always op console" under "Advanced Parameters | Performance | Debug" ... what do I now check for and how do I check it? weasel69
I disabled all product except 1 in my category and the page displayed ... I then enabled another product and refreshed the page. It now took a bit longer to load, but eventually loaded after a few seconds. I then enabled another product, and again the load time increase ... the question now is, is the problem the amount of images (9) in each product ... or the amount of combinations (123) for each product? Any advise?
weasel69
I have narrowed it down even further and found that the problem is definately with the amount of combinations Each product (couch) has the following options Type - 2 options dropdown Material - 124 options dropdown (20 at default price, 92 at a higher price, 11 at a even higher price and 1 at a lower price) Seems like the material field is the problem Click for demo site Edited March 17, 2014 by weasel69 (see edit history)
