antonino barcella
is there anyway that I can easily change the info contained in the invoice email sent by order@... so that it could be set to a different page size than A4 or for that matter where the code is that needs to be amended/deleted to remove any unwanted/unescessary information? Will this also affect the emailed invoice the customer receives?
tuk66
Email templates for customers are in /mails folder, templates sent to administrator(s) are in /modules/mailalerts/mails folder. PDF invoice templates are in /pdf folder. There is the only one common invoice template for all parties. Anyway, using the M4 PDF Extesions module you can define different templates for every place where invoices are available.
antonino barcella
Ultimately what I'm trying to achieve is that every order which is placed automatically prints out in the retail space we have on a standard thermal receipt printer so I need to be able to in particular resize the information within the order email I receive as currently I have it printing but as you can imagine the format is all over the place since the paper is only 80mm wide? would the M4 PDF module allow me to do this? the important feature is the automation. tuk66
If you can distribute the PDF somehow (as an email attachment perhaps) and automatically print, then yes. You can create a template for 80mm label printer without any problem. There is a patch for Mail Alerts module to attach PDF invoice (http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/270216-modification-mail-alerts-pdf-invoice-attachment/). The only small patch for the M4 PDF Extensions module would allow to send different invoices to both customer and administrator by email.
