Chibs
Hello everybody, I'm trying to move from local to online. I transeffered all the files by FTP. And now my problem is that i'm unable to see my prestashop database in phpmyadmin in order to export it. Im logged with root and it's the only user account. I've tried to Grant privileges but still get the 1045 error in mysql. Is there any other way to get the DB ( From C: files for example) ? Help please Thanks a lot,

nkassebaum
Just out of curiousity, why were you building the site locally?
Chibs
Because i'm not a programmer, i'm new to this and i had to develop my shop locally before going further. I still have a lot of php errors....
nkassebaum
If you already have a domain and hosting package for the site you want to build, I recommend using their automatic installer software to install Prestashop. It gives you a blank installation of the site and all you have to do is edit the products and store itself. It seems developing it locally would be a lot more complicated than doing it from an automated installer. Chibs
But i completely changed the store design, Products pages, customized some modules. I forgot to mention that i kept old store folders . I uploaded them in my hosting server with a database from the new local installation. Hhhh weird i know
