HavanA
When using mediaservers, it is advised to put these on another domain or subdomain. Now I do have another shared server (ssd) and I was wondering if it would help performance if these files were put on another domain there. Because that would also increase the number of DNS lookups? Is that not the case when these files on another domain on the same server? And when it is better to put these on the same server, is it than better to use another domain instead of a subdomain? Wouldn't it be even better if those files could be stored in memory (if one has a server with big memory, and is it even possible)?
