CSV Import for Downloadable Products

Hi all

 

First of all, thank you for all your contribution, this is such a great forum, I found answer to almost every question and problem I have  . I just can't tell how much I appreciate all your efforts 

 

However, I'm still struggling with CSV import feature, especially when I sell downloadable products

 

When I import my CSV file for thousands of products, everything seems to be fine, name, category, images, but not for the file upload value

In CSV import for products, I see "Uploadable files (0 = No, 1 = Yes)". So I thought for sure it's 1 = Yes

Having put the value 1 in, but when I went on to check all my products in my back-end, all products are categorised as physical products, that mean I have to check the box downloadable products, wait to load, then manually upload file for each product. This process is very tiring if I repeat it for thousands of times  . 

 

So in short, I have 2 questions to ask for help, please help me 

 

1. Is there anyway to make sure CSV work fine and all products uploaded pre-set to be downloadable, or is there anyway to mass edit all products to be downloadable?

 

2. It's so easy to just upload thousands of images with preset name, having documented in CSV file the right URL for all images and it's all done! I wonder if there's a simple way like that to work with file for downloadable products.

I have the same problem but it seem to be useful this module store manager prestashop if you found another share the info would be useful for me
