New at Prestashop

Dear Prestashop users and runners,

 

Im new of use Prestashop and I normally only use wordpress but a good friend of mine that cant do anything ask me setup is store to him so i was think how difficult can that be.

 

I follow most of the things as i should but i try to integrate another theme that was fit him more than orginal. So here is few thing i need to have help with to understand how to make it work and some are lost.

 

 

1. Cart wagon is totally gone, either i press delete on live edit so its gone from there or its gone when i did some configuration... its gone and without that we can see the products to buy.

 

 

 

2. I want to make new buttons in the headmenu and i dont want to have drop down buttons just a straight line. Where do i add new buttons names and i think i found one page but how can i know the link of the site even i for example call the button TEAM and then ad my url link/TEAM nothing happen

 

 

 

3. Logo can i use a bigger wider logo size then orginal? I want to have more space, my new logo size is 200x193 and now its slide into my top menu, not good... what file do i do the edit of this. I know some coding so i think it wont be difficult as long i know were to search for it.

 

 

 

4. Slider do i must have 5 sliders can i not have only 2 or 3 for now and add more in future. Where do i make this changes.

 

 

 

5. My categories shows totally wrong. There are 3 category names that is not belong to my list and 3 that belong BUT where i create the 6 category buttons there are ny 6 and same if i gfo to live edit the correct 6 are there but in website online there are totally wrong 3 my own and 3 old categories. How to fix this issue.

 

 

 

6. Can remove all links in botton widgets and replace with only one side like 25% with links like condtions, terms of use, payment and shipping rules etc. and the other 75% i want to add logos from paypal, and other relevant logos that we corporate with.

 

 

 

7. the frame i like to be white with black menu, categorie etc i black w white letters as we see it just now in orginal default theme while the background that is outside the frame all around is and background image of bodybuilders so that i can give the store/site a more proffessional look for the purpose.

 

 

8. I also want to have more space on top of the whole store not that much but perhaps 1 inch so that i can add social buttons on top.
