A few questions about Prestashop

Good morning, all. Can anyone shed some light (or point me to previous threads) on a few questions I have about Prestashop?

 

1. At this time, we only wish to offer local delivery. How can I (if possible) limit orders to only customers within cities/zip codes I have specified?

 

2. Is it possible to add a surcharge (or mandatory tip or similar fee) to an order balance before taxes are applied?

 

3. Can tax be calculated per item or must it be calculated per order total?

 

4. Can I charge different shipping fees based on the delivery address?

Have you thought about putting the cities Into different zones and change your delivery charges accordinly

Thanks for that idea! I had looked at the features page and noticed the zones feature but, because only Countries were displayed in the examples, I have assumed zones were only useful on the country level. I'll definitely look into that though! That would solve a couple of my "issues".

Found the answer to question 3 in the product editor. Tax can be applied per product.
