Multiple carts under one customer

I'm trying to configure Follow up module and have a problem with creating abandoned cart vouchers. For some reason every customer has multiple carts under their account, so if customer has 10 carts saved then module gonna create 10 vouchers. 

How can i change so every customer has only one cart?

I don't think this is possible, unless you physically delete carts from the database. Every time a user adds products to an empty cart, a new cart ID is created.

maybe a work around for the future is to try setting preferences-->customers-->re-display cart at login to yes.

i enabled it and still testing, gonna post later this week if it worked or not

fishordog did you resolve this problem? After upgrade to 1.5 from 1.4 customer Follow up module sends many mails to one customer.

i had same problem, so i stopped using Follow Up. I have enabled preferences-->customers-->re-display cart at login to yes. as El Patron suggested but i didn't have time to test if it helped with multiple carts under one customers.
